I’m an SLP, a clinician, just like you. I play on the floor with toddlers and coach parents through helping their children learn to eat and communicate. 5 years ago I finished graduate school with $52k in debt, hoping to save the world one speech therapy session at a time.
I did all the right things.
I got the degree.
I got into an in demand career field.
I made the 4.0 and I was still...BROKE.
Life quickly showed me that although I loved my career, no amount of speech therapy was going to get rid of my student loans and help me retire with dignity.
After pouring myself into learning more about personal finance, investing and how to make my money work FOR me, I started my private practice.
NOW, I'm debt free and on track to retire in my mid 40s while still going on vacation and enjoying life.
